Shanghai: New Political Thriller of Creative Director Dibakar Banerjee

Director Dibakar Banerjee’s new creation ‘Shanghai’ is going to hit the theaters soon. ‘Shanghai’ is a Political thriller movie having Abhay Deol, Emraan Hashmi and Kalki Koechlin in central roles. The film is slated to release on June 8, 2012.

Creative Director Dibakar Banerjee has been decided to woo his audience with his upcoming political thriller ‘Shanghai’ which is expected as the biggest thriller release of the year. Movie will also witness the comeback of the popular Bengali actor ‘Prosenjit Chaterjee’ who will be seen in a Hindi film after 21 years.
Actor Abhay Deol delivers his comments about the director Dibakar Banerjee with whom he has been working second time. “Dibakar is one of the finest directors of Bollywood. I had the opportunity to work with him in ‘Oye Lucky Lucky Oye’. I love the way he creates his own world through his scripts. He has a brilliant way of telling stories”.

Abhay Deol will unveil himself in a South Indian sporting moustache look. The second lead star Emraan Hashmi is a small town photographer in the movie who does unusual jobs and has two or three press cards with him. He is a multitasking man. His character undergoes a transformation and finally faces his own reality.

Rowdy Rathore : Upcoming Bollywood Action Movies

Rowdy Rathore the Hindi remake of a Telugu Film Vikramarkudu  directed by Prabhu Deva. Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala are the producers. Akshay Kumar  has been featured in double role. Sonakshi Sinha is her co-star in the film. Film is scheduled to be released on 15 June, 2012. The television right of Rowdy Rowdy Rathore has broken the record and sold in Rs 45 crore.

Rowdy Rathore upcoming Hindi action remake of Telugu film Vikramarkudu directed by Prabhu Deva. Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Rowdy Rathore has been assumed as the most anticipated film of this year. Its television right has been sold in Rs 45 crore, it’s a record breaking selling as compared with the previous record of Agneepath of Rs 41 crore. Akshay Kumar will be presented in double role, one of thief and second of an IPS officer. The marketing strategy of Rowdy Rathore has something different from others. They have made handmade posters with tag lines: FAULAD KI AULAD, ILAAKA TERA DHAMAKA MERA & NAYA SAAL NAYA MAAL.

Akshay Kumar plays the role of a mastermind thief, who is mistaken by a young girl as her father. The girl’s father was his lookalike, an IPS Officer Rathore ,  recently murdered. Story illustrates that  how he gets revenge on the killers of his lookalike IPS Rathore. For the movie Akshay Kumar is learning a special technique ‘Combat Karate’ for his character role in the film.

‘Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi’ , Upcoming Bollywood Comedy Flick by Rakesh Mehta

Life Ki To Lag Gayi is an upcoming Bollywood Comedy Film  produced under the banner of V.M Final Cut Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, K Sera Sera Productions. Pradhuman Singh, Kay Kay Menon, Jackie Shroff, Manu Rishi, Ranvir Shorey, Tom Alter, Neha Bhasin are in the pivotal roles. ‘Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi’ is a new comedy flick produced under the banner of V.M Final Cut Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, K Sera Sera Productions. Movie also marks the directorial debut of Rakesh Mehta.
It’s a one day story of four persons struggling in the metro city Mumbai, one with vengeance, one on a mission, one with hope and one to con. At the end of the day they all meet at one place and find their ways. The main idea around which the whole film revolves is “whether you are an actor or a contractor or anybody, in a city like Mumbai, everyone is messed up”.

‘Tere Bin Laden fame Pradhuman Singh, who has the lead role in the movie admits “”Although these are promising times for small budget films, unfortunately companies are still reluctant to put in money if there is no big star cast, despite good content. There is still a massive struggle for non-star cast, small budget films,”
The other pillar of the movie Kay Kay Menon says ‘the current obsession of filmmakers with marketing is “very funny, but very sad also”. Singer Neha Bhasin debuts as an actress with ‘Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi’. Her character in the film is named Chandigarh Dolly. Neha, is known for her smash hit songs like ‘Dhunki’ from ‘Mere Brother ki Dulhan’ and ‘Kuch Khaas Hai’ from ‘Fashion’ .

Ishaqzaade : A new romantic drama of Yashraj Films

‘Ishaqzaade’ is an upcoming romantic drama movie produced by Yash Raj Films. Written and directed by Habib Faisal, film stars Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in the pivotal roles. Amit Trivedi  has been selected to compose music for the film. Movie is set to release on May 15, 2012.

Department’: Upcoming Cop Drama of Producer Ram Gopal Verma.

 

Producer Ram Gopal Verma is coming up with his new cop drama ‘Department’. Film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt , Rana Dagubatti, Vijay Raj and Abhimanyu Singh in major roles.  Movie is expected to release on June 15, 2012.

‘Department’ is the new Cop drama of Producer Ram Gopal Varma. Varma has introduced ‘Nathalia’ the Brazilian girl of Indian descent featuring her in an item number.  Initially Varma approached to ‘Leone’ for the item song “Dan dan” but when the deal didn’t work out with Leone, who will be seen in ” Jism 2″, he shifted the offer to Nathalia. According to Varma “Apart from being a fantastic looker, the fact that she can also act so very well is what made me decide to do a feature film with her,”

The film’s characters include a don, a gangster, a gangster-turned-politician, and shootout specialists. South Indian star ‘Rana Daggubati’ who is also in the pivotal role in the film said “Department is a heavy-duty action film. I trained a lot for it, and the training was just in the gym. It had a lot to do with marshall arts, and I easily had 10 to 15 action sequences. So it was fun,”

Kya Super Kool Hain Hum : An adult comedy sequel

‘Kya Super Kool Hain Hum’ is the next adult comedy of Balaji Telefilms. Produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kappoor and directed by Sachin Yardi. Jannat 2 – Upcoming Bollywood Crime Thriller Movie

Jannat 2 is the Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming crime thriller film and sequel of the 2008 hit Jannat. Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt are the producers and directed by Kunal Deshmukh. The Film also features a Randeep Hooda, Imran Zahid and Esha Gupta .Movie is expected to release on May 4 , 2012.

The new Jannat 2, sequel of 2008 hit ‘Jannat’ will soon hit the screens in the month of May. Emraan Khan Starrer film will be released on May 4, 2012. Randeep Hooda Imran Zahid and Esha Gupta will support Emraan in the lead roles. The story is based on the issue of illegal arms in Delhi.

Emraan Hashmi has copied underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s style and looks in the film. Initially it was decided to take Prachi Desai as the female lead actress in the film but finally Director Kunal Deshmukh offered Esha Gupta to get in. His belief is that she will be more sensual on screen. Esha, a former Miss India International has also graced the Kingfisher calendar twice. The soundtrack is composed by Pritam Chakraborty.
