Ranbir – Deepika patch up!!

Ranbir Kapoor and his ex girlfriend Deepika Padukone have decided to bury the hatchet and work together for Ayaan Mukherjee’s next film. Ayaan Mukherjee, who had cast Ranbir Kapoor in his first film, Wake Up Sid was undecided about the female lead in his next venture. This is when Deepika stepped in and called Ayaan several times, requesting him to cast her in the film, to which the film maker finally agreed.

Dum Maro Dum first look

Abhishek Bachchan and Rohan Sippy come together again in the forthcoming Bollywood thriller Dum Maro Dum after their mega successful project, BluffMaster. The movie is being produced by Ramesh Sippy. Dum Maro Dum is based in Goa and is about the lives of six Indians whose lives change as they get involved with the drug mafia in the area. The film has Abhishek Bachchan as ACP Vishnu Kamath, Aditya Pancholi as the drug lord Lorsa Biscuta, Bipasha Basu as Zoe, Rana Daggubati as DJ Joki and Prateik Babbar as Lorry. Crime, revenge, rage, sex - are all woven together to create this super thriller!

The movie has been shot in Goa and will be released on 22nd April 2011. Pritam Chakraborty has composed the music for the film. ‘Game’: A glimpse of the upcoming thriller

Game is the story of four strangers who come together under strange circumstances. Neil Menon (Abhishek Bachchan), O.P. Ramsay (Boman Irani), Tisha Khanna (Shahana Goswami), and Vikram Kapoor (Jimmy Shergill) are invited to Kabir Malhotra’s (Anupam Kher) private island Samos, in Greece. None of the characters knows each other and as soon as they arrive on the island, they wish that they had never come as they all become suspects in crime as Sia Agnihotri (Kangna Ranaut) gets murdered. The film promises to keep you on the edge of the seat with its twists and turns that involve love, revenge, retribution and murder.

Game has been shot across five international locations that include Greece, Istanbul, London and Bangkok apart from Mumbai. Game is believed to belong to the same genre as the ‘Bourne’ trilogy. The film has been directed by Abhinay Deo and is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Game is slated for a summer release in April this year. The film is interspersed with some enchanting tracks which have been composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The lyrics have been written by Javed Akhtar. Ranbir – Katrina caught kissing!!

Bollywood hotties, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were spotted kissing in a flight from Frankfurt to Mumbai last week. The couple who came close while shooting for two of their films, Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani and Rajneeti has been denying their close association while contrarily reports have been pointing at their growing proximity.

The kissing incident came to light when an Indian RJ blogged about it, mentioning her friend as a witness to the thing. Katrina, who was wearing a T-shirt and jeans and was without make up, looked around several times looking for known faces before she accepted Ranbir’s open show of affection for her. The pair were holding hands as they exchanged a kiss! Most of the co-passengers who were European businessmen did not seem to notice or recognize the star couple as Ranbir went on to plant quite a few kisses on Kat’s cheek, which she did not object to......or rather seemed to enjoy the gesture. Ranbir was away in Amsterdam shooting for an ad, while Katrina decided to join him to spend some time together! With so much happening, will the beautiful Ms. Kaif finally admit to have been smitten by the Kapoor boy???!!!!

‘De Ghuma Ke’ is the official anthem for the on-going ICC World cup Championships. The anthem has been composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, while Manoj Yadav has written the lyrics. The song has been sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Divya Kumar. The De Ghuma Ke video is very colorful and shows Shankar Mahadevan belting out the rhythmic number in a very entertaining manner. The lively video fuels the enthusiasm of cricket fans all across the world and refreshes some glorious moments of cricketing history. The video also has the mascot for the championships, STUMPY dance to the tune of De Ghuma Ke alongwith the other performers.

Commenting about the song, Shankar said, "De Ghumaa Ke" literally means ‘Hit It Hard’. We were looking at various ideas to determine what direction we can take because we wanted to make a fun song, a dhamaal song on which people can dance, they can sing and we wanted to use more of a colloquial term, which was an idea that came in late. Initially, we were looking at a regular dance song and by chance we coined this phrase De Ghuma Ke. Everyone got excited and said why not make a song around the phrase.” The lyrics of the song uses some commonly used Hindi phrases like aare paare (this way or that) and juta hausla badla faisla (buck up and change the game). De Ghuma Ke has a combination of Indian beats and rhythms and does not conform to any one style in particular with elements of rock and hip hop thrown in. The song, according to the composers, avoids the usual patriotic and run-of-the-mill Bollywood beats for a “fun and funky tune” with a “folksy feel and a hint of rustic Punjabi”. De Ghuma Ke has three different versions in three different languages; Hindi, Bangla and Sinhalese keeping in mind the three hosting nations India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The Bengali version has been sung by Raghab Chatterjee while Ranidu Lankage has rendered the Sinhalese version.
