Dirty ‘Vidya Balan’ turns desperate ‘Vidya Bagchi’ in “Kahaani”

“Kahaani” is the upcoming movie of ‘Vidya Balan’ who plays the role of a pregnant and desperate “Vidya Bagchi” searching for his missing husband. Emraan Hashmi is the co star with her. Sujoy Ghosh is the director and producer. Music by Vishal-Shekhar and the story has been weaved by Sujoy Ghosh and Advaita Kala. Movie is going to be released on March 9, 2012.

‘Kahaani’ is the story of a pregnant woman searching her missing husband being desperate. Vidya has arrived in Kolkata from London to find her husband. She is seven months pregnant and has nothing to rely except memories of her husband. She is trying to collect clues about her husband’s existence but everyone tries to convince that her husband is no more in this world. Vidya realizes that what she was thinking is not a truth. Now she decides to unravel a truth related to her husband, herself and her child, who has not taken birth yet.

Director Sujoy Ghosh has prepared the story and screenplay by himself. He has taken Vishal and Shekhar as the music director. It is expected to both of them that they will prove themselves as best to portray the sensitive image of the film. Sujoy has presented Emraan Hashmi as the co star as he proved his capability in his previous block buster “The Dirty Picture”.

Gali Gali me chor hai: A story of an Indian common man struggles with the common Indian problem, corruption.

Rumy Jafrey “ God Tussi Great ho ” director , has tried to come up with a new concept of a ‘aam aadmi ki kahani’ in “Gali Gali me chor hai”. The common Indian problem ‘corruption’ is the main theme of the film. The team includes casts like Akshay Khanna , Shriya Saran , Mugdha Godse , Satish Kaushik , Annu Kapoor Vijay Raaj , Akhilendra Mishra.

The new creation of Rumy Jafrey, who has already directed Salman Khan in his film “God Tussi Great ho” now with Akshay Khanna starring Gali Gali me chor hai , has tried to entertain people showing corruption as the basic problem of Indian society. Bharat (Akshay Khanna) the aam aadmi , a cashier and part time “Hanuman” at Ramleela , residing in the city of Bhopal with his father Srinivasan, an old timer who values freedom and hopes to see a corruption free administration in the country. Bharat is married to Nisha a schoolteacher, loving and caring but doubting wife concerned more about Bharat’s promotion from cashier to manager at the bank than his flying tricks at the ‘Ramleela’. Sattu younger brother of MLA Manku, a bad actor is always unhappy that ‘Hanuman’ steals the show with his performance and Manku is unhappy over Bharat’s refusal to let out his extra room to campaigning for his re-election. Bharat’s father ShivNarayan befriends the opposing candidate Mohanlal and lets out the room to him for his campaign.

One night Hawaldar Parshuram Khushwaah informs Bharat about the theft of a Table-fan from his household. Khushwaah orders Bharat to come at the small court. The real act begins for Bharat here onwards, his life turns into a metaphorical remark aimed at the system by making this part time cashier slash hanuman into the front page national news heard from lane to lane filled with thieves.
