Force: Upcoming Action Packed Bollywood Thriller Movie

Force is an upcoming action packed Bollywood thriller that has John Abraham and Genelia D’Souza in the lead roles. The film is directed by Nishikanth Kamath and produced by Vipul Shah. The film is the remake of the very successful, Tamil movie Kaakha Kaakha that was directed by Gautham Menon. The story of the film revolves around a dutiful cop who is out to capture a dreaded gangster. John Abraham will be seen reprising the role of a cop in ‘Force’. Music composer, Harris Jayaraj has created the music for the film and cinematography is by acclaimed cinematographer Ayananka Bose. The film is set for release on 30^th September.

The search for the leading lady of the film took longer than usual, creating trouble for the makers of the film. Asin was the original choice for the role, but she stepped out opting for the Salman Khan starrer, Ready. Katrina Kaif who was the next choice, chose a Yashraj film, ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ instead. It was only after the makers decided to commence shooting without a heroine that Genelia D’Souza came on board.

The film got mired in controversy for a wedding sequence in which John Abraham and Genelia D’Souza were supposed to tie a knot. The makers of the film hired a real Hindu priest, instead of a junior artiste to lend authenticity to the scene. According to sources from the film’s unit, ceremony conducted was so authentic that had John and Genelia completed the last round they would have actually been man and wife. The priest who was hired for the sequence read out real marriage mantras, forgetting that the cameras were rolling. A huge hue and cry about the incident was created by the priest when he came to know of Genelia D’Souza and Riteish Deshmukh’s plans to get married. According to the priest, Genelia was in no position to get married as she was already married to John by following all the rituals that included, wearing a ‘mangalsutra’, exchanging garlands and taking the seven ‘pheras’.

David Dhawan’s film Rascals, looks like another laughter riot from the director known for his comical films. . The film has Bollywood actors, Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgn in the lead roles. The film also has Kangana Ranaut, Arjun Rampal, Chunky Pandey, Satish Kaushik and Lisa Haydon in its cast. ‘Rascals’ is about two conmen, played by Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt who are constantly trying to supersede the other. Buzz is that Dhawan was inspired by the much loved cartoon characters Tom, the cat and Jerry, the mouse and has tried to infuse the same essence into these two characters. A source said, “David was asked to write the two most famous cartoon combatants with Dutt and Devgn in mind. That’s how Rascals was born.”

Bollywood actress, Kangna Ranaut will also be seen in a never before sexy avatar in the film. The actress has worked hard to acquire a well shaped body which she will be flaunting in a bikini. MTV Grind – Most Happening and Hottest Beach Party Ever

MTV Grind India, is an Indian adaptation of the popular dance music based cult show, MTV Grind that had sexy men and women dancing away on breath taking foreign beaches and private pools. Mere Brother Ki Dulhan by Yash Raj Films is yet another interesting romantic comedy that is on its way to the theatres in September. The musical romantic film is set in an upper middle class family in Northern India and is a love triangle. Imran Khan plays a character who falls in love with his brothers fiancée, played by Katrina Kaif, while Ali Zafar plays Imran’s brother in the film. The film has been extensively shot in Agra, a historic city in Uttar Pradesh that boasts of one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal and in the picturesque locales of the Doon valley. The film will hit the screens on 9^th September.

The music of the film that has been composed by Sohail Sen is one of the high points of the film. Katrina Kaif who plays a Delhi University student in the film has donned a rockstar look for one of the songs in the film, ‘Dhunki’ which is already a rage. Sahib Biwi aur Gangster is yet another tale of love, lust and betrayal by Tigmanshu Dhulia. The film is inspired by the 1962 classic, Sahib Biwi aur Ghulam. The film has actress Mahie Gill and actors Jimmy Shergill and Randeep Hooda in the lead roles. Mahi Gill plays a lovelorn, lonely and frustrated and lonely wife of a Nawab, Jimmy Shergill, who gets passionately involved with one of her husband’s henchmen, Randeep Hooda.

Mahie Gill who made an impressive debut as ‘Paro’ in Anurag Kashyap’s Dev D is on her way to establish herself as an actress who would go to any length to get into the skin of the character. Mahie has a quite a few bold scenes in Ram Gopal Varma’s Not a Love Story. But her portrayal of ‘Biwi’ in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Sahib Biwi aur Gangster is notches higher than what she has done in her earlier films.

The actress has shed her clothes for quite a few passionate scenes and is also a part of a lengthy and erotic kissing scene with co-star Randeep Hooda in the film. A source says, “The film has erotic scenes between Randeep Hooda and Mahi Gill. There is a love-making scene where she is dressed like a royal bahu and seduces Randeep’s character. Initially she had a few reservations, but once Tigmanshu assured her that it will be shot aesthetically she was game for it.” Says producer Sunil Bohra,“It’s a romantic scene in the film. Though people will find it very hot and sensuous, Tigmanshu has shot the sequence aesthetically.”

First glimpse of ‘Bodyguard’

The first look of one of the most awaited films of this year, ‘Bodyguard’ was released recently. The film has Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles. One of the high points of the film is an item number by Katrina Kaif, who will also be seen in a cameo.

After WANTED, DABANGG and READY, Salman Khan is all set to please his fans with yet another film, ‘BODYGUARD’. The handsome actor will be seen in a highly stylized avatar in the film which is a remake of the Malayalam film of the same name. The romantic action film has Kareena Kapoor as the female lead opposite Salman. Katrina Kaif has a cameo in the film as well as an item number. The film is produced by Salman’s brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri and is directed by Siddique. The film will be in theatres on 31st August.

The first look of the film was released amidst much fanfare in the presence of the lead pair of the film. Being his benevolent self, Salman asked Shera, his personal bodyguard of fifteen years to do the honours of unveiling the first look of the film at a Juhu multiplex. An overwhelmed Shera said, “This is a very big honour that bhai (Salman) has given me by giving me an opportunity to release his film's promo. I have been with bhai for 15 years now. I used to tell bhai that I can take a bullet for him. But the reality is that he protects his close ones so much that even he can take a bullet for them. He is the real life bodyguard," Shera told reporters. Salman will be seen wearing the same uniform that the employees of his personal bodyguard agency wear. Salman, who is very close to his personal bodyguard Shera, has used his name on the uniform too. The superstar turned down an offer of Rs. 7 crore to wear a certain security company's uniform.

At the event the superstar said: "I can trust him (Shera) with everything - with money, girls, family and even my life. He is very trustworthy. Apart from guarding me, his duty has also been to go with every girl who has been in my life. I knew he will take good care of them wherever they go." While Kareena said, "Shera has known me since I was 10 years old. And today, he is launching the promo of my film. He has known me before I was an actress, so it is a very special moment. It's all thanks to Salman," said the actress.

Don 2 – The Chase Continues, First look of Farhan Akhtar’s Don 2 is finally out

The eagerly awaited first look of Farhan Akhtar’s Don 2 is out! Don 2 is a sequel to Farhan Akhtar’s Don, which was a huge hit and which also inspired Akhtar to make a sequel. The title of don 2 says, ‘‘Get Ready for the return of the king’! Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the sequel features Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani and Om Puri. There are two new tracks in the film which will be essayed by actors Lara Dutta and Kunal Kapoor. Hrithik Roshan will also be seen in a cameo in the film. Shah Rukh Khan has undergone a complete makeover for his character in Don 2. He will be sporting a bearded look with a new hair style and also show off a six pack ab!

Don 2 has been shot in Berlin, Germany and Malaysia. The film is slated for a December 2011 release.

There are also stories of Akhtar planning a Don 3 – The Chase Ends, which will be last of the Don series by the film maker. Don was a remake of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer, Don. Though a remake and with similar characters and nuances borrowed from the original film, Akhtar’s Don had a different climax and story line. Let’s hope that he is able to recreate the same magic in Don 2.
