Force: Upcoming Action Packed Bollywood Thriller Movie

Force is an upcoming action packed Bollywood thriller that has John Abraham and Genelia D’Souza in the lead roles. The film is directed by Nishikanth Kamath and produced by Vipul Shah. The film is the remake of the very successful, Tamil movie Kaakha Kaakha that was directed by Gautham Menon. The story of the film revolves around a dutiful cop who is out to capture a dreaded gangster. John Abraham will be seen reprising the role of a cop in ‘Force’. Music composer, Harris Jayaraj has created the music for the film and cinematography is by acclaimed cinematographer Ayananka Bose. The film is set for release on 30^th September.

The search for the leading lady of the film took longer than usual, creating trouble for the makers of the film. Asin was the original choice for the role, but she stepped out opting for the Salman Khan starrer, Ready. Katrina Kaif who was the next choice, chose a Yashraj film, ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ instead. It was only after the makers decided to commence shooting without a heroine that Genelia D’Souza came on board.

The film got mired in controversy for a wedding sequence in which John Abraham and Genelia D’Souza were supposed to tie a knot. The makers of the film hired a real Hindu priest, instead of a junior artiste to lend authenticity to the scene. According to sources from the film’s unit, ceremony conducted was so authentic that had John and Genelia completed the last round they would have actually been man and wife. The priest who was hired for the sequence read out real marriage mantras, forgetting that the cameras were rolling. A huge hue and cry about the incident was created by the priest when he came to know of Genelia D’Souza and Riteish Deshmukh’s plans to get married. According to the priest, Genelia was in no position to get married as she was already married to John by following all the rituals that included, wearing a ‘mangalsutra’, exchanging garlands and taking the seven ‘pheras’.

Mere Brother Ki Dulhan by Yash Raj Films is yet another interesting romantic comedy that is on its way to the theatres in September. The musical romantic film is set in an upper middle class family in Northern India and is a love triangle. Imran Khan plays a character who falls in love with his brothers fiancée, played by Katrina Kaif, while Ali Zafar plays Imran’s brother in the film. The film has been extensively shot in Agra, a historic city in Uttar Pradesh that boasts of one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal and in the picturesque locales of the Doon valley. The film will hit the screens on 9^th September.

The music of the film that has been composed by Sohail Sen is one of the high points of the film. Katrina Kaif who plays a Delhi University student in the film has donned a rockstar look for one of the songs in the film, ‘Dhunki’ which is already a rage. The actress with her loose hair, kohl lined eyes, funky accessories and tattoos on her back and an electric guitar looks very much like a real life rockstar!

The film will mark the debut of Ali Abbas Zafar as a director and writer. This film is Ali Zafar’s second outing in Bollywood with Tere Bin Laden being his first in which he made his acting debut. Madhuri on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 4

Dancing diva Madhuri, settled in USA, will have her second stint on the small screen but as a judge. She will be the star attraction as one of the celebrity judges on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, which will go on air on December 12 on Sony TV. The show will be aired twice a week on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9:00 pm IST. Apart from Madhuri Dixit the show has model turned actress, Malaika Arora Khan and Remo D’Souza as judges.

The show has celebrities from all walks of life compete with professional dancers as partners. The show's format is has been adapted from the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ show on BBC One in UK, which has been a huge success in over 30 countries like America, Australia, New Zealand, and Italy where it is known as ‘Dancing with the Stars’. Wannabe Gangster – Soft Looking Shahrukh Khan in Don 2 Press Conference in Berlin

He always wanted to be a mean gangster, but his soft looking face prevented him from bagging the dark faced role. So what? That doesn’t stop the Baadshah of Bollywood from portraying a dark role! Shahrukh Khan was in full swing as he charmed the reporters at the press conference in Berlin for his upcoming movie Don 2. Apart from SRK, Don 2 will also feature Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, Om Puri, Lara Dutta and Kunal Kapoor. ‘Rock On’ star Farhan Akhtar will be directing the movie, and he also doubles up as the co-producer with Ritesh Sidhwani. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio has composed the music for the movie with Farhan’s dad Javed Akhtar. The movie is slated for release on 23^rd December 2011.

The press conference was held at a popular Palace in Berlin, where the filming of the movie has started. SRK and Priyanka Chopra were an awesome twosome at the press conference, which left everyone present spell-bound! The smiling Khan says, “All of us like the ‘bad’ in life. Somewhere down the line, the fun fact is that there is the bad guy, who does a lot of bad things, and who does no nice things at all. But he’s a lover of life. He’s a lover of killing. He loves doing all nasty things, but with an artistic touch.”

Talking about the movie, SRK adds, “Don is very beautiful behind his dark-mean exterior. You have to know him really well, to know who he really is. He enjoys and takes pleasure in everything, be it driving a bus in Berlin or romancing a beautiful girl. He’s not a typical gangster! I always wanted to be a dark mean gangster, but my soft looking face didn’t let me play such a role.”

Apart from Band Baaja Baaraat, she will also be seen sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar in Nikhil Advani's Patiala House. The main leads Shruti (Anushka) and Bittoo (Ranveer) are just out of Delhi University. A chance and mistimed meeting brings them together to reluctantly start a chaotic entrepreneurial venture as Wedding Planners, nevertheless with one firm rule: not to mix business with pleasure. Their business follows the ups and downs of the lavish world of the glamour and glitz of Delhi baaraats and weddings that will test their friendship over time.
