Shanghai: New Political Thriller of Creative Director Dibakar Banerjee

Director Dibakar Banerjee’s new creation ‘Shanghai’ is going to hit the theaters soon. ‘Shanghai’ is a Political thriller movie having Abhay Deol, Emraan Hashmi and Kalki Koechlin in central roles. The film is slated to release on June 8, 2012.

Creative Director Dibakar Banerjee has been decided to woo his audience with his upcoming political thriller ‘Shanghai’ which is expected as the biggest thriller release of the year. Movie will also witness the comeback of the popular Bengali actor ‘Prosenjit Chaterjee’ who will be seen in a Hindi film after 21 years.
Actor Abhay Deol delivers his comments about the director Dibakar Banerjee with whom he has been working second time. “Dibakar is one of the finest directors of Bollywood. I had the opportunity to work with him in ‘Oye Lucky Lucky Oye’. I love the way he creates his own world through his scripts. He has a brilliant way of telling stories”.

Abhay Deol will unveil himself in a South Indian sporting moustache look. The second lead star Emraan Hashmi is a small town photographer in the movie who does unusual jobs and has two or three press cards with him. He is a multitasking man. His character undergoes a transformation and finally faces his own reality.
