The much awaited and much anticipated first look of Farhan Akhtar’s Don 2 is finally out. The theatrical release of the film will give you a glimpse of all the characters in the movie. The eagerly awaited first look of Farhan Akhtar’s Don 2 is out! Don 2 is a sequel to Farhan Akhtar’s Don, which was a huge hit and which also inspired Akhtar to make a sequel. The title of don 2 says, ‘‘Get Ready for the return of the king’! Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the sequel features Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani and Om Puri. There are two new tracks in the film which will be essayed by actors Lara Dutta and Kunal Kapoor. Hrithik Roshan will also be seen in a cameo in the film. Shah Rukh Khan has undergone a complete makeover for his character in Don 2. He will be sporting a bearded look with a new hair style and also show off a six pack ab!
Don 2 has been shot in Berlin, Germany and Malaysia. The film is slated for a December 2011 release.
There are also stories of Akhtar planning a Don 3 – The Chase Ends, which will be last of the Don series by the film maker. Don was a remake of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer, Don. Though a remake and with similar characters and nuances borrowed from the original film, Akhtar’s Don had a different climax and story line. Let’s hope that he is able to recreate the same magic in Don 2.
