The Hindi remake of the path-breaking Tamil film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa which means 'Will You Cross the Skies & Come?' ,Ek Deewana Tha is directed by Gautham Menon. However , to make his movie different from his original Tamil flick , he has changed his star cast and to add to this the climax as well . Prateik Babbar stars solo for the first time , in this romantic drama with newbie Amy Jackson , who is supposed to do her Bollywood debut with this romantic flick. Ek Deewana Tha marks the comeback of Menon to Bollywood after a long time; post the R Madhavan-Dia Mirza-starrer Rehna Hai Terre Dil Mein .

The brain child of the critically acclaimed director Gautham Vasudev Menon's "Ek Deewana Tha" named is after a song in the Rishi Kapoor starrer "Karz" and is said to be earlier titled "Prem Katha". The opposites attract tried and tested formla which most of the times gets a thumbs up from our bolly wood audience is expected to score for this movie as well.

The movie revolves around an engineer, Sachin who has managed to attain his degree but more than engineering its the film industry where his obsession lies , the cinema and films that he finds more eye catchy , the big screen that attracts him. Doing the job of a perfect struggler by hanging around at film sets, waiting outside director’s offices and spending time with an assistant director friend and waiting and some some more waiting is how he spends most of his days. While life was churning its monotonous cycle Sachin shifts to a new house , and finds the beautiful , smart ,elegant and classy lead , Jessie . For Sachin its nothing but , love at first sight ! Everything in Jessie draws Sachin towards her but like every story has to do its rounds of hard and tough roads this one has Jessie's parents who come from an extreme orthodox background where watching movies, partying or falling in love are completely taboo . Jessie finds the need to be 'just friends' with Sachin and still talk and meet him when alongside she battles with her feelings about him ,while Sachin is head over heals for her .

Will love ultimately blossom between this intense lover Sachin and confused yet headstrong Jessie ?

Watch Chammak Challo Song, from Upcoming Bollywood Movie Ra.One

The song Chammak Challo evoked much curiosity amongst audiences when the song was leaked a few months back. But now the song’s teaser has had a official release. The seventeen second teaser has Kareena dressed in a sexy red saree dancing to desi beats to a song that has been sung by American R&B singing sensation, Akon. Shah Rukh Khan also matches steps with Kareena in the song. The dance has been choreographed by renowned Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya.

The full version of the song will be released soon. “Wanna Be My Chammak Challo” are the lyrics of the film.

The song has been in the eye of a storm for quite for some time now, first for its trial version being leaked online and then Shah Rukh dragging a jewelry brand to court for using the song for a ramp walk. The full version of the song will be out on television soon. Shahrukh Khan had tweeted - "Ra.One music to release in September...can't wait to put Chamak Challo on TV in the next few days. Finally it's that time when u start letting the ownership of your film to pass onto the audience."

Ra.One, a super hero action flick is Shah Rukh Khan’s most ambitious projects till date. The film is directed by Anubhav Sinha and will be released in the 3S as well as the video game format. The film is set for a Diwali release on 26^th October. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan who plays the main protagonist G.One and Kareena Kapoor, the film also has Arjun Rampal as Ra.One, the baddie!
