The BOROPLUS Gold Awards -The 1st Global Indian Television Awards – is back this year! After rocking Mauritius in 2007 and Dubai in 2008, Vikas Kalantri of White Leaf Entertainment Media Pvt. Ltd. is all set to take it to yet another level in Mumbai. The event will be held in association with Maharashtra tourism. In its initial couple of years television personalities like Anuj Saxena and Pooja Ghai Rawal were associated with the Gold Awards. This year, however, Vikas Kalantri is the sole producer of the event.
In a recently held press conference in Holiday Inn (Andheri), Vikas Kalantri unveiled the Gold Awards along with the honorable jury Mr. Dheeraj Kumar (Producer), Mr. Rakesh Bedi (Actor) and Mr. JD Majethia (Actor-Producer). Almost the entire TV industry and film fraternity landed to show their support as the Press conference was followed by an amazing party, attended by a glittering galaxy of stars and celebrities, which went on till the wee hours of the morning. The award ceremony scheduled to be held on 19th June, 2010 will be telecast on Zee TV.
