Nervy Priyanka Chopra walks the ramp for Manish Malhotra at Anjaana Anjaani Fashion Show

This seems to be the state of mind ace designer Manish Malhotra is currently into. He had nothing ‘new’ to show at the recently concluded Lakme Fashion Week, so he simply presented the ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ collection for his DHL Anjaana Anjaani Fashion Show.

No complaints though as the Anjaani Priyanka Chopra (PC) looked stunningly curvaceous in a shimmering ghagra-choli, which was specially designed for the show. In a surprising revelation, PC had tweeted just minutes before her walk that she was very nervous since this was her first walk after a long break from the ramp. When quizzed, Piggy Chops was very down-to-earth, and said that she is in fact always very nervous before any appearance on the ramp and had to take the help of a few of her model friends before the walk to refresh her ‘Fashion’ memories.

The Khatron Ke Khiladi beauty took the ramp in a unique avatar, donning a ghagra choli with sneakers and topping it off with a denim jacket! When asked about her peculiar look in the movie, PC said that it is the same look that she has in a particular scene in the movie because the chilly climate of New York demanded the outfit.

Miss World 2000, Priyanka is of the view that Indian girls look beautiful with a curvaceous figure and not a size zero. Is she taunting some Miss Kapoor? When Salman called, the beauties had to answer! It was raining beauties at the HDIL Being Human Fashion 2010, when Salman Khan stormed the ramp with some of the most beautiful faces in Bollywood. Looking stunning in red, Katrina Kaif was next one on the stage, accompanied by tap dancers and models dressed as the mafia personifying the 1930's. The dove eyed beauty Rani Mukherjee looked smashingly beautiful. She portrayed the 40's wearing a Manish Malhotra creation. Bipasha Basu, looking hot in black, represented the 50's. Karisma Kapoor, entered the ramp on a piano, looking prettier than ever showcasing the 60's - the age of rock n roll and cabaret. Former Miss World Sushmita Sen took to the ramp in a jazzy outfit representing the 70’s. Priyanka Chopra donned the look of 'Material Girl' – Madonna to capture the vivacious 80’s. Rounding off the wonderful evening was Kareena Kapoor, dressed in all black, as she teased the audience, representing the naughty 90’s.

The show, choreographed by Aparna and Tanya and styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania, ended with all the girls sporting a ‘Being Human’ T-shirt.
