One of the most awaited films of the year, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will not be released in 3D version. Warner Bros Pictures have decided to release ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1’ in 2D, as they won’t be able to complete a 3D version of the film for the worldwide release on 19th November.

“Despite everyone’s best efforts, we were unable to convert the film in its entirety and meet the highest standards of quality. We do not want to disappoint fans who have long-anticipated the conclusion of this extraordinary journey, and to that end, we are releasing our film day-and-date on November 19, 2010 as planned. We, in alignment with our filmmakers, believe this is the best course to take in order to ensure that our audiences enjoy the consummate ‘Harry Potter’ experience,” said producer David Heyman.

Director David Yates continued, “This decision, which we completely support, underscores the fact that Warner Bros. has always put quality first.” Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 is still scheduled to be released in 2D and 3D on July 15th, 2011. In the movie, Harry, along with his best friend Ron and girl friend Hermione, sets out on a perilous mission to track down and then destroy the secret to Voldemort’s immortality.

Hollywood’s Eat Pray Love Trailer starring Julia Roberts

Hollywood’s ‘Pretty Woman’ stars in Ryan Murphy’s ‘Eat Pray Love’. The movie is based on the memoir Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. Julia Robert has herself produced the movie with Brad Pitt. ‘Eat Pray Love’ is about a woman realizing that she is not getting what she wants out of life, and, after a painful divorce, sets out on a journey of self discovery that takes her around the world. The movie also stars Javier Bardem, Billy Crudup, Richard Jenkins and James Franco.

Ryan Murphy , director of Multiple Emmy award winning serial ‘Glee’, has directed this movie, while the cinematography has been done by Robert Richardson. ‘Eat Pray Love’ which began filming in August 2009 has been shot in a budget of $60 million. Spanning across three of the world’s most culturally diverse countries, viz. Italy, India and Indonesia, the movie covers the vivid aspects of the countries very finely and the experiences of Elizabeth (Julia Roberts) in the countries.

The film is broken down into four separate acts - the film’s prologue where Elizabeth’s personal breakdown happens in New York; her search for great food in Italy; searching for her spiritual centre in India; and finally reaching an emotional balance in Bali. Each act is distinct in its manner and subject and we see Liz grow emotionally and spiritually through each experience. It is only an actress like Julia Roberts that can make a character like Elizabeth Gilbert seem three dimensional and not artificial and whiney. We want her to find herself, and this sort of connection is crucial for a movie like Eat Pray Love. Her best moments are when she shares the screen with James Franco as both actors play off each other delightfully.

Julia Roberts makes the changeover into Elizabeth’s world natural and James Franco once again proves what a remarkable actor he is. As clichéd as it may sound, Eat Pray Love is something of an experience, both visually and emotionally. Movie enthusiasts can watch the Eat Pray Love trailer on NyooTV.com.
