‘Stay Ahead’ with the Biker of the Nation- John Abraham

If the moral brigade was looking out for the one responsible for making the ‘yellow’ trunks famous amongst the youth of the nation, then they would have a tough job on their hands, or in fact their bikes! Premium bike manufacturer Yamaha has announced the Bollywood hunk as the ‘Biker of the Nation’.

A childhood fan of the Yamaha bikes, John is its current brand ambassador. The ‘Jhootha Hi Sahi’ star not only lives the Yamaha philosophy of “best biking at the most affordable price”, but also loves it! John’s first bike was also a Yamaha RD350. He is a big-time bike enthusiast, and was seen on bike in one of his biggest hits till date ‘Dhoom’ in a dark role.

The muscular actor recently shot a TV commercial for the brand, where surprisingly he doesn’t ride a bike at all! He likes the concept of ‘turtle’ used in the advertisement and goes on to say that when he is working with the Yamaha team, he is a Yamaha member and not an actor.

While his love for bikes is well known by his fans, very few know about his love for helmets. 'Bikes are my passion, but I take care of my helmets as my babies. Like people go and buy clothes, I go shopping for helmets. I have different helmets for different days,' John says. He goes on to add that a biker should think about his loved ones before himself when going on a bike ride. It is always safer to put on a helmet while on a bike.
