After ‘Darling’ and ‘Bekaraan’, both having created waves, another number from Saat Khoon Maaf, ‘O Mama’ is all set to win over music buffs. ‘O Mama’ from Vishal Bharadwaj’s next film, ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ has been sung by KK and has music by the director Bharadwaj himself. The song in the film is a playback for John Abraham who plays Jimmy Stetson, a rock star and depicts his relationship with Sussana, played by Priyanka Chopra. The song has some romantic scenes between the duo.

Saat Khoon Maaf is based on a short story by Ruskin Bond, Susanna’s Seven Husbands. The film depicts the life of a woman, who marries seven different men in her life span and murders them all in her quest for love! Saat Khoon Maaf is the story of Susanna Anna-Marie Johannes, a beautiful Anglo Indian woman and her love stories with seven different men.

Priyanka Chopra is the lead actress in the film who plays a murderous wife to her seven husbands. Apart from Piggy Chops, the film features Neil Nitin Mukesh, Naseerudin Shah, Arshad Warsi, Mohan Lal, Irrfan Khan & John Abraham as her husbands. Naseeruddin Shah's son Vivaan Shah has been roped in to play the youngest husband and Russian actor Aleksandr Dyachenko, also plays one of the seven husbands. The buzz is that Vishal Bharadwaj has also signed an international actor to play one of the husbands. Konkona Sen Sharma also has a cameo in the film. The film has Priyanka in a negative role and the actress sports seven different looks as she plays a woman in different stages and ages of life. Priyanka who is just 28, will be seen playing a complex character with a age spanning from 25 years to 65 years. Ashutosh Gowariker periodic thriller: Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey Trailer

Get ready for another classic from the stable of Ashutosh Gowariker. After producing masterpieces Lagaan and Jodha Akbar, the producer-director from Maharashtra is revoking history books once again with ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’. The movie has a colorful star-cast with a mix of Anglo-Indian actors. Abhishek Bachchan will be paired opposite Deepika Padukone and the party of English actors includes Monty Munford, Francis Mathew, Paul Gatward, John Tassi, John Pollard and Robert Drury. The film is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and produced jointly by Ajay Bijli, Sanjeev K. Bijli and Sunita A. Gowariker. December 3, 2010 is the scheduled release date for the movie.

Sohail Sen, who has previously worked on Ashutosh’s ‘What’s Your Raashee?’ has scored the music for the movie, while the legendary Javed Akhtar has written the lyrics for the movie. The movie is an adaptation of the novel ‘DO and DIE: The Chittagong Uprising 1930-34’ by Manini Chatterjee.

‘KHJJS’, as it is popularly known, has been shot majorly in Goa along with some scenes in Mumbai. Ashutosh describes the film as an ‘inspirational timeless movie’ that should be watched by the youth of India. “This film is very much in line with our philosophy to touch, move and inspire audiences through the language of films,” he said. Also when Ashutosh read the novel, he had made up his mind that only Abhishek can portray the role of ‘Surjya Sen’ and it didn’t take much convincing to land Abhishek as his main lead. Deepika meanwhile will play the role of ‘Kalpana Dutta’.
